J-smoove does not want to be a Hawk as long as Woodson is coach, and they just signed him to a 2 year extension. Its no secret that they dont get along, so why not deal him and get fair value for him. Keeping him could hurt the team chemistry. Dont get me wrong. Smith is exciting to watch, but if we can get a big man for Smith, we have go for it. The Clips just signed Camby, which I think makes no sence because he is no PF. They now Kaman,and Camby. Emeka Okafur is a Restricted Free Agent who would be a perfect fit for us at Center. He would give us 16 pts 12 reb 2 blks, and Cha would get a 18 pts 8 reb 3 ast 3 blk type of player who would mesh well with their squad. They are looking for the same type of money (5yr 67mill) Kaman(16pts 13 reb) would be an option if they were able to part ways since they have a nice piece in Camby .

Bringing back an ABF Favorite!

We've been eating a lot of rich food lately, because of the luxurious things our clients have been ordering... Grilled Brisket Steaks in Garlic Adobo sauce, BBQ Half Chickens, Shrimp Alfredo Pasta Salad, Prime Rib, Lots of cream sauces, etc. So, at home, I've been preparing lighter fare for the last few weeks. A couple of tofu dishes that went over great, even for the kids, are Tofu Parmesan and Tofu Chilaquiles.

For the Parmesan, drain and dry a tofu cake, cut it into slices, dredge in seasoned flour and Parm cheese and fry in a little olive oil on both sides until lightly browned and crispy, spoon in some Marinara and top completely with grated Soy Queso. Cover to let the sauce heat through and the cheese melt, serve with an Olive oil and Herb Whole Wheat Angel Hair pasta, Garlic Bread and Salad.

Chilaquiles is a traditional Southwest Brunch dish with eggs and fried tortillas and sauce; I made it with tofu and it was outrageous. Cut your corn tortillas into strips and fry them golden in a little oil. Remove from pan and set aside. Add chopped garlic, onion, green peppers and chiles, and diced tofu to the pan, cook until you start to get carmelization on the vegetables. Add a small can of chili ready diced tomatoes and a can of Lime and Red Chile Enchilada Sauce (Hispanic aisle in your store; it may come in a bottle marked "Sabrosita"). Let come to a simmer and add the fried tortillas; top with lots of shredded queso, fresh cilantro and green onion, let the cheese melt and serve. A great one dish casserole that only needs a salad next to it.

Other than those, it's been some of the usual; We served Thai marinated Salmon to our lunch clubs this last week, so we've had a few Salmon meals, also I was craving Beer-Battered Fried Fish last night so...I whipped that out with Sweet Potato fries and Broccoli Salad.

Next week we're having church families over for social functions, and I'll be making Rotisserie Leg of Lamb with Mediterranean Potato Salad and Creamed Spinach with Goat Cheese, and a variety of French Tarts for dessert. Check back later for more!

I spend every Sunday watching our Falcons struggle. I've watched them since I was a child in the sixties. I must have inhaled to still be a Falcon fan. But here I am still hanging on everyplay. It is a sickness. Two of the last three games I have watched on my boat fishing. The fish were biting while we were getting pounded. It helps ease my pain. I love to fish but not enough to miss a Falcon game. I don't keep a record but you could count on your fingers and toes the number of games I have missed in the past three decades..
