I am awaiting a Matt Ryan "authentic" that I bought at a "knock-off" price. I have little doubt that it is not a true authentic but from the "pix" the quality appears to be good - with shipping, its costing me about $70 - basically the same price as a replica jersey with the screen print.

Of course, I am sure there is a "wide range" of quality on the knock off authentics......my question to you out there in falcons land is this?

Have you bought a "knock-off" authentic?

And, if you did - were you satisfied with the quality and your purchase overall?

1 know winning fixes most things, but just wish the dome was loud. Also Wish we had something we were know for, like the steelers terrible towels.

Looking for input here. In the last 4 years I've bought 2 jerseys...One of some guy #7 and the other was DeAngelo Hall. My brother has Demorrio Williams. It hasn't worked out well for either of us...Both of us need new Gameday gear for the Dome.

I don't want a Matt Ryan jersey...and yes I realize I should have bought a Brooking jersey 10 years ago and been done with it.:D

i live up in viking country. i know it is still 6 months away but i was just wondering if anyone plans on going to the falcons game in minnesota week 15 this year. i was at the game last year when the falcons played the vikings week one and the falcons fans were few and far between. i already got tickets for this years game. just curious if theres going to be more red and black up here this time.

Getting the crowd hype before the game(pre-game) and during the game. How do I go by applying for a position like this? for the white trash blimp that felt the need to shake her butt in fron of the guys in front of us, please do not wear spaghetti straps to hold up your breasts and stomach. it was disgusting and then the night went downhill from there. do yourself a favor and get some clothes on. even the guys up in the next level were groaning!

Hey whats up. I've read this board for a long time without actually making a username but today decided to come on here and help these falcons with support. It saddens me to see that there's not a game day thread yet. Come on guys the season is not over yet! Sure the playoffs are gone and dead but we still need to support our team either it's good or bad.SO Anyway I'm ready to watch the Falcons play for a W today and they can do it against this Cards team. It's the last road game of the season and hopefully we can pull it off because I BELIEVE!!!!!! If your a real Falcons fan join me now! SO who's actually watching this game with me?

Falcons at Tampa Bay Dec 2007

A friend and I met in Tampa Bay this past December to see the Falcons play. I was impressed by a few of the players. D. Hall, L. Robinson, C. McIntyre, M. Jenkins, Joe Horn, Mike Boley and S. Nicholas were all available after the game at the buses. It was a great time and I am really impressed with those players who took the time out to say Thanks. They obviously didn't have to sign autographs or come and see the few fans that saw the game. They were also willing to listen to the few Buc fans (jerks) yelling at them from behind us. Just wanted to say thanks for those memories.I was hoping to speak with Joey Harrington but he didn't have the time I guess. Maybe next time.

dome sound system

the sound in the dome seems to be getting worse as the season goes on. perhaps because there are fewer and fewer people showing up. i can't believe that sound is the best they can do. it is terrible. the falcons seem to have sold every available flat surface to advertisters. that is not as bothersome as the ads/"games" live camera q&a segments. these are terrible. yes, i know they do that kind of stuff during baseball games. but, football is totally different. not the same mindset. also, when working with a bad sound system, why have a woman do the on camera interviewing. she is fine at what she does, but the timbre of her voice through that sound system is whinning and hurtful. swapping out a man's lower register voice would help. (if you have to have these segments)

a final observation during thanksgiving night game. regarding half-time: r&b music is great, and it works real well in a club or small theater. but a 70k seat arena is not a club. the sound is terrible! it was nothing more than white noise. i wish the falcons would pick music that fits an arena environment.

falcons ripping off fans on beer at games

i was very surprised looking through cnnsi's fan value index to see how freaking expensive beer is at falcons games compared to other places - falcons fans pay $6.75 for a 16 oz beer

that is significantly more than is paid by fans in ny, chicago, sf, and philly, all cities with a higher cost of living index

it is significantly more expensive than some smaller cities charge

i did not check all 32 teams, but could not believe how much the falcons are ripping off the fans when it comes to beer prices

and to think when blank took over it was something like $5 for a 24 oz beer

i am actually quite outraged to see how much we are being overcharged compared to other fans in other cities, you know, ones that have winning teams

How much have the falcons chances improved with Bush out for this game? I'm not worried about the Saint's D at all.. and now their offense looks a lot weaker without a viable run threat. Can Brees carry them? Can our Pass D hold up?

i was wondering if anyone knew (mods included) why the falcons landing hasn't had any ex-players signing autos. i used to look foward to talking to some of the old players and getting an auto or two and this year , i have only seen cheerleaders at the tent. does anyone know what is up with that?
